Role Description The Backend Developer (Node JS) will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power IENERGY’s suite of platforms. This full-time, on-site role in Noida involves building secure and efficient server-side applications, integrating databases and external services, and optimizing performance and reliability for high-availability environments. The developer will collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, implement best practices in code quality, and contribute to architecture decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, modular Node JS code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, performing code reviews, and ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills with experience in Node JS and JavaScript, and familiarity with modern frameworks and libraries.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration (SQL/NoSQL).
• Solid Software Development fundamentals, including version control (Git), testing, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
• Applied knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns for building maintainable, reusable code.
• Ability to collaborate with Front-End Development teams and understand integration points between client and server layers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and security best practices is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
