Backend Developer, India

We are hiring a bright software engineer to join our Analytics team, focusing on expanding AlgoSec solutions, learning different firewalls and network devices, implementing configuration analysis and management. Analytics team also deals with network abstraction, firewalls’ policy analysis and risks, firewalls’ policy optimization, delivers APIs for visibility and analysis of complex network security policies across on premise and cloud networks. Reporting to: Analytics Team Leader. Direct employment

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design and develop new complex backend features, redesign bottlenecks for scale and maintain our backend services
• Take part in feature development from the requirement definition state to final deliverable

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Sciences/Engineering from a known university
• Over 5 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in Linux/UNIX environments.
• Experience in Java and server-side software development.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) - good to have.
• Good understanding of Prompt Engineering principals
• Proven ability to effectively use AI chatbot tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for tasks such as test scenario creation, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization
• Experience working with AI-powered coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) within development environments
• Proven ability to effectively use/develop AI Agents
• Proven ability to effectively use/develop/configure MCPs
• Proven ability to effectively use/develop skills.
• Team player, pleasant person to work with, high level of integrity.
• Very bright, fast learner, independent and organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
