Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with 3+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js and Python FastAPI. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Node, JavaScript, Python, backend architecture design, database management, RESTful API development, microservices, and performance optimization. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while collaborating closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver robust software solutions.

🔹 Key Responsibilities: Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and efficient server-side code.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Ensure application security, reliability, and performance

System Design & Architecture

• Design application architecture for scalability and maintainability.
• Develop distributed and microservices-based solutions when required.
• Implement design patterns and coding standards.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning.
• Create technical documentation and API specifications.

Database Development

• Design and optimize database schemas.
• Write complex and highly optimized SQL queries.
• Perform query tuning and database performance optimization.
• Manage relationships, indexing, stored procedures, and transactions.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and improve query execution efficiency.

API Development & Integration

• Develop and maintain REST APIs.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Implement API security standards and best practices.
• Create API documentation and versioning strategies.

Performance Optimization

• Analyze application bottlenecks and optimize backend performance.
• Improve response times and resource utilization.
• Monitor application performance and database efficiency.
• Optimize memory consumption and server-side execution.

Python Development

• Hands-on experience with Python for backend development and automation.
• Experience developing APIs using the FastAPI framework.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of API routing, request validation, middleware, dependency injection, and exception handling.
• Experience with asynchronous programming concepts in Python.
• Integration with relational and NoSQL databases using Python.
• Knowledge of API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
• Familiarity with Python virtual environments, package management, and dependency management.

Production Support

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Review application logs and database logs for issue resolution.
• Support deployment and release activities.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for application monitoring and scaling.
