Backend AI Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Engineer to drive the development of multimodal AI content generation solutions across video, image, and voice. The ideal candidate will combine strong backend engineering expertise with experience in GenAI technologies, cloud infrastructure, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the multimodal AI generation roadmap and technical architecture.
• Design and build scalable video, image, and voice generation pipelines.
• Lead model orchestration, LLM routing, and AI service integrations.
• Drive AWS-based infrastructure, containerization, and observability practices.
• Mentor engineers and guide technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product, Content, and Leadership teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure compliance, safety, and governance for AI-generated content.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI/Multimodal AI applications.
• Experience with video, image, or voice generation technologies.
• Expertise in AWS (ECS/EKS, Fargate, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
• Strong Docker and container orchestration experience.
• Experience with async programming, Celery, SQS, or similar queueing systems.
• Ability to lead architecture decisions and mentor engineering teams.
