Senior Backend Developer who is a Node.js maestro and a problem-solver at heart. If you’re passionate about building high-scale distributed systems that directly impact how children learn, we want to talk to you.

The Role As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be the backbone of our engineering team. You won't just be writing code; you’ll be architecting the future of our educational ecosystem. You’ll own entire product modules—from the first line of logic to deployment—ensuring our platform remains fast, scalable, and secure.

What You’ll Do

• Architect & Build: Lead the design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant backend services using

Node.js .

• Scale the Platform: Build and maintain scalable microservices that support thousands of concurrent live sessions and AI-driven learning tools.
• Database Mastery: Design and optimize complex database schemas in

MongoDB and other NoSQL/SQL systems to support evolving business needs.

• System Integrity: Implement robust automated testing platforms and unit tests to ensure our releases are rock-solid.
• Collaborate & Mentor: Work closely with Frontend, Product, and Design teams to translate vision into reality. Mentor junior developers through thoughtful code reviews and technical guidance.
• Innovate: Stay ahead of the curve by integrating AI tools (like LLMs for our learning assistant, NOAH) and exploring new backend frameworks.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in backend development, with at least

2-3 years of deep hands-on experience in Node.js .

• Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in

JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like

Express or

Fastify .

• Database Knowledge: Expert-level knowledge of

MongoDB (mandatory) and experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) is a plus.

• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with

AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Problem Solving: A proven track record of solving complex architectural challenges and a "get things done" attitude.
• Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
