Back End Developer

At Xpression Corp, we're looking for Backend Engineers who want to build systems where performance, reliability, and scalability are at the core of every decision. This opportunity is for engineers who enjoy solving complex distributed systems challenges, designing low-latency architectures, and building platforms capable of handling massive transaction volumes in real time.

What You'll Be Working On • Building order matching engines capable of processing 100K+ transactions per second • Developing Order Management Systems (OMS) supporting advanced trading workflows • Designing secure wallet and custody infrastructure with multi-signature transaction handling • Building real-time risk, margin, and liquidation systems for financial products • Architecting event-driven systems using Kafka and modern distributed architectures • Developing institutional-grade APIs, WebSocket market data feeds, and trading services • Creating highly available infrastructure designed for 99.99% uptime and operational resilience • Strengthening observability, monitoring, security, and compliance across mission-critical systems

What We're Looking For • 2+ years of Backend Development experience • Strong expertise in Node.js and/or Rust • Experience building scalable, high-throughput backend systems • Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes • Strong understanding of performance optimization, reliability engineering, and system design • Knowledge of cryptography, secure transaction processing, and backend security principles

Preferred Experience • FinTech, Trading Platforms, Payment Systems, Crypto Exchanges, or Financial Infrastructure • Blockchain technologies, EVM ecosystems, node infrastructure, or digital asset platforms • Building systems that operate at scale with stringent performance requirements At Xpression Corp, you'll work on challenging engineering problems, contribute to mission-critical systems, and help build technology that powers next-generation financial platforms.
