Back End Developer

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join a cross-functional IoT platform team developing and operating cloud-native services for connected products. The role is primarily focused on backend development with TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js, combined with AWS, microservices, event-driven systems, and DevOps.

Location: Mumbai, India

Duration - 14 months + extensions

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using TypeScript/JavaScript & Node.js, with Java or Go where required.
• Build REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations for IoT solutions.
• Work with AMQP, HTTP, gRPC, and distributed systems.
• Develop cloud solutions using AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, RDS, API Gateway, ElastiCache, NLB/ALB, and WebSockets.
• Work with MongoDB, Valkey, SQL, and other data stores.
• Contribute to CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, testing, observability, deployment, and operations.
• Improve scalability, security, resilience, and platform performance.

Key Requirements

• Approximately 5–10+ years of backend/software engineering experience.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js backend development.
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, and event-driven/distributed systems.
• Hands-on Kubernetes/EKS and containerization experience.
• Experience with MongoDB and SQL databases.
• Strong CI/CD, DevOps, testing, and production operations knowledge.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

Java or Go, IoT/connected products, AMQP brokers, gRPC, Valkey/Redis, serverless architectures, and AI-assisted development experience.
