Mid-Level Software Engineer – Full Stack (Backend Heavy) Location: Bangalore | Experience: 3+ Years

About the Role We are looking for a

Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our

Product & Growth Team in Bangalore. This is a

backend-heavy full-stack role , where you will primarily work on scalable backend systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, data pipelines, and product growth initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Product, Growth, Data, and Frontend teams to build features and systems that directly contribute to user engagement, experimentation, and business growth. The ideal candidate is a strong backend engineer who enjoys

ownership, fast execution, solving complex problems, and building reliable systems at scale .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices .

• Build systems supporting

product features, growth experiments, analytics, and data-driven initiatives .

• Develop high-quality, maintainable software using

Python, Node.js/TypeScript, and/or Golang .

• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot

SQL databases, schemas, and queries .

• Build and maintain

event-driven systems and data pipelines using Kafka or similar messaging platforms.

• Containerize applications and services using

Docker .

• Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot services in

Linux-based environments .

• Collaborate with Product, Growth, Data, and Frontend teams to deliver impactful solutions.
• Contribute to frontend development when required, particularly for

experiments, dashboards, and internal tools using React.js .

• Participate in

code reviews, architecture discussions, system design, and performance optimization .

• Debug production issues, identify root causes, and improve

system reliability, scalability, and observability .

• Take end-to-end ownership of features and technical initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience .
• Strong hands-on backend development experience with one or more of:
• Python
• Node.js / TypeScript
• Golang
• Strong understanding of

SQL and relational databases .

• Hands-on experience with

Kafka or similar messaging/event-streaming systems .

• Experience building and running

Dockerized/containerized services .

• Comfortable working in

Linux environments .

• Good understanding of:
• RESTful APIs
• Backend architecture
• Microservices
• Distributed systems fundamentals
• Strong foundation in

Data Structures & Algorithms .
