Back End Developer with 5-8 years Experience

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Back End Developer role based in Indore. The Back End Developer will design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs that power Ease Commerce’s CRM platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing robust business logic, integrating databases and third-party services, optimising performance, and ensuring reliability and security of backend systems. The role involves collaborating with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system architecture. The developer will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support production deployments and maintenance.

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs primarily using Node.js.
• Contribute to building scalable and efficient applications.
• Work with frontend teams where required to support full-stack development needs.
• Code Quality & Collaboration
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to improve code quality.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.
• Problem Solving & Debugging
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
• Optimise performance and improve reliability of backend systems, Security & Best Practices
• Implement authentication and authorisation mechanisms to ensure secure access to applications.
• Follow security and development best practices across services.

Required Qualifications :

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Node.js development.
• Experience with any one Node.js framework Fastify, Express, or NestJS.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
