About The Role

We are looking for a BA Analyst – Engineering & Client Solution to work at the intersection of clients, Business Operations, and Engineering teams.

This role will focus on understanding business and client requirements, translating them into clear and actionable requirements for Engineering and BI teams, coordinating solution delivery, analyzing business data, and ensuring effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate does not need to be a developer but should have a good understanding of technology and engineering environments, with the ability to understand technical concepts, communicate business requirements effectively, and collaborate closely with Engineering and BI teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Business Requirement Management

• Work closely with clients and Business Operations teams to understand business needs, challenges, workflows, and enhancement requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear, structured requirements that Engineering and BI teams can understand and execute.
• Conduct requirement discussions to clarify business logic, expected outcomes, priorities, and dependencies.
• Act as a key point of coordination for client and business requirements through the solution lifecycle.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and provide updates on requirements and solution progress.
  
  

Engineering & BI Coordination

• Act as a bridge between clients, Business Operations, Engineering, and BI teams.
• Work closely with engineers and BI teams to communicate business requirements and clarify functional expectations.
• Facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Coordinate solution requirements, priorities, dependencies, and changes with relevant teams.
• Track requirements and ensure appropriate follow-up through implementation.
• Help Business Operations understand technical considerations, limitations, and solution approaches communicated by Engineering teams.
  
  

Business Intelligence & Data Analysis

• Work with BI and Business Operations teams to understand reporting and data requirements.
• Analyze business and client data to identify trends, gaps, exceptions, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support requirements for reports, dashboards, metrics, and other BI solutions.
• Understand business metrics and help ensure reporting requirements accurately reflect operational needs.
• Translate business questions into structured data and reporting requirements.
• Provide insights that support operational and client-related decision-making.
  
  

Solution & Implementation Coordination

• Understand client and operational challenges and work with Engineering and BI teams to identify appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate requirements from initial discussion through development and implementation.
• Monitor progress and facilitate communication between stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Support the rollout and adoption of new solutions, enhancements, reports, and process changes.
• Ensure delivered solutions remain aligned with the original business objectives and client requirements.
  
  

Requirement Documentation

• Prepare and maintain clear documentation of business requirements, functional requirements, workflows, specifications, and change requests.
• Draft and finalize specifications with approval from the relevant User Department HOD or Business Owner before development begins.
• Maintain documentation of client requirements, approvals, decisions, changes, and implementation updates.
• Ensure requirements are clearly communicated and traceable across Business Operations, Engineering, and BI teams.
  
  

Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and client-facing processes.
• Work with Business Operations and Engineering teams to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
• Analyze recurring business or client challenges and support the development of scalable solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across business processes, reporting, and service delivery.
  
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Client Solutions, Business Analysis, Business Operations, BI, Product Operations, Engineering Operations, or a related role.
• Strong requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Experience working with Engineering/Technology teams and Business Operations stakeholders.
• Good understanding of technology and the ability to understand technical discussions without necessarily having hands-on development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of business data, reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into requirements that technical teams can understand and technical information into language that business stakeholders can understand.
• Strong coordination, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
  
  

Preferred Background

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• An Engineering or technology-related educational/professional background would be preferred.
• Exposure to Business Intelligence, analytics, dashboards, or reporting tools would be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of databases, data flows, system integrations, or software applications is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Experience working in an Engineering, Product, SaaS, technology, or data-driven business environment is preferred.
• Experience working with global or US-based clients/stakeholders would be an advantage.
