About this role
ARIA Wealth: what it does, who we sell to
ARIA is a family office as software, for the families who never had one. It gives an investor, and the adviser who serves them, one explained view across goals, holdings and markets: mutual funds and shares in India, and United States and global assets through GIFT City.
WHAT ARIA DOES
- Builds goal-based portfolios. A client states a goal (a child's education, a home abroad, retirement). ARIA builds a portfolio for it from researched Indian mutual funds and explains every choice in plain words.
- Watches the portfolio every night. Fund-quality changes, goal drift, market shocks and tax moments are checked continuously and explained in a notifications hub and in chat. A person stays in the loop before any action.
- Researches funds and shares in depth. A mutual fund research engine (CGMF) and an equity research engine (Hedge Fund) sit behind the app, so the adviser has a clear story to tell every client, not a product list.
- Opens a global route. Through GIFT City, one account and one view for United States shares, exchange-traded funds and a planned dollar fund, within official remittance limits.
THE PROBLEMS IT SOLVES
- Clients below the service minimum get products, not a view. ARIA gives them a built and explained goal portfolio.
- Silence in a market fall. ARIA sends an explanation first; the adviser sees the same note.
- Tax looked at once a year, after the fact. ARIA watches it through the year and asks a person to approve any action.
- Investing abroad means several brokers. ARIA offers one account and one view.
WHO TO SELL TO AND TARGET
1. Mutual fund distributors and independent advisers (primary target)
- Who: Firms serving many retail and affluent clients who want a stronger story for each one. A sales sidekick first, then a fuller client-service flow.
- What they buy: Research-backed, explained advice at scale; a way to serve clients below today's minimum profitably.
2. Banks and wealth firms
- Who: Relationship-manager teams serving affluent clients inside an institution.
- What they buy: One consistent explained view for every relationship manager and client.
3. Affluent Indian families
- Who: Households with goals across education, property and retirement who want a whole-picture service.
- What they buy: A goal portfolio, nightly watch, plain-English explanations.
4. Cross-border families
- Who: Non-Resident Indians in the Gulf and the United States, and resident Indians investing abroad within official limits.
- What they buy: One account across rupees and dollars via GIFT City.
WHAT THE Growth Lead WILL DOOpen conversations with distributor firms, adviser networks and wealth-management desks; run demonstrations of the investor app and the adviser story; qualify partners for the distributor channel as it opens; and feed back what the market asks for. Fluency in how Indian mutual fund distribution and private wealth teams work matters more than technical depth.
