Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for B2B Field Sales Professionals based in Mumbai. The role involves identifying and qualifying potential exhibitors and sponsors, conducting regular client visits, and presenting ABEC's exhibition and conference offerings to decision-makers. Responsibilities include managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing, while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients across various industry verticals. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams for proposal development, account servicing, and post-event follow-up, as well as maintaining accurate sales reports and meeting assigned revenue and activity targets.

Qualifications

• Strong B2B sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation, and closing.
• Experience in field sales, client relationship management, and account servicing in exhibitions, events, media, or related industries.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable with frequent client meetings, local travel within Mumbai, and on-ground presence at events and exhibitions.
• Proficiency in basic office and CRM tools for maintaining pipelines, forecasts, and sales reports.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; relevant sales certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience in B2B exhibitions, conferences, or trade fairs is highly preferred.
