Azure Solutions Architect

Job Summary

The Azure Solutions Architect will design secure, scalable, highly available solutions using Microsoft Azure and guide engineering teams through implementation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Azure cloud architectures.
• Translate business and technical requirements into cloud solutions.
• Design Azure compute, storage, networking, database, and security solutions.
• Develop cloud migration and modernization strategies.
• Establish Azure architecture standards and best practices.
• Design highly available and disaster-recovery solutions.
• Implement cloud security and identity architectures.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost and performance.
• Work closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams.
• Review technical designs and implementation plans.
• Support infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code.
• Mentor cloud engineers and technical teams.

Preferred Candidate Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of IT/cloud experience.
• Strong Azure architecture experience.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, App Services, Storage, Networking, SQL, and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID/IAM.
• Experience with Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Strong understanding of cloud security.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cloud cost optimization and governance.
