Azure Platform Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Own end-to-end administration of Azure Databricks, including workspaces, clusters, jobs, workflows, cluster policies, and performance optimization.
• Implement Databricks security and governance using Unity Catalog, RBAC, service principals, managed identities, and Azure Key Vault.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for Databricks code, assets, and platform deployments using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment management using Terraform/Bicep across Databricks and Azure services.
• Manage inbound and outbound integrations with APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and external data sources.
• Administer Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Event Hub, and related services supporting Data & AI workloads.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Databricks tools.
• Drive platform governance, cost optimization, resiliency, disaster recovery, and operational excellence for enterprise Data & AI platforms.
