Job Summary We are looking for an experienced

Azure L3 Cloud Support Engineer (Azure Cloud SME) to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will serve as the highest level of technical escalation for Azure cloud infrastructure, handling critical production issues, driving root cause analysis, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of enterprise Azure environments. The role requires deep expertise in Azure services, cloud networking, automation, and enterprise support within Banking or Financial Services environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Level 3 escalation point for critical Azure incidents and service outages.
• Diagnose and resolve complex Azure infrastructure and platform issues.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across:
• Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), VM Scale Sets (VMSS), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure Networking (VNet, VNet Peering, Azure Firewall, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, ExpressRoute)
• Azure Storage (Blob Storage, File Storage, Managed Disks, performance optimization)
• Azure PaaS Services (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB)
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Design and review High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and business continuity solutions.
• Optimize Azure environments for performance, security, governance, and cost efficiency.
• Define and enforce Azure governance standards and best practices.
• Mentor L1 and L2 support engineers and develop technical knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with Microsoft Support for critical issue resolution.
• Review and approve production changes, deployments, and infrastructure modifications.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM Templates, Bicep, and Terraform.
• Participate in Major Incident Management and post-incident reviews.
• Provide architectural guidance for Azure migration and modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of IT Infrastructure experience with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise-scale Azure production environments.
• Strong understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, and security.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain is mandatory.
• Ability to manage high-priority incidents and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
