Azure L2 Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide L2 support for Azure cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and identity services

· Monitor Azure environments using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerts

· Perform basic troubleshooting for incidents related to VMs, networking, access issues, and Azure services

· Handle service requests, incidents, and basic change activities as per defined SOPs

· Escalate issues to L2/L3 teams with proper analysis and documentation

· Assist in routine operational tasks, health checks, and maintenance activities

· Maintain incident records, runbooks, and operational documentation

· Support shift-based operations, including rotational or on-call support if required

Required Skills:

· Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure fundamentals

· Knowledge of core Azure services (VMs, VNETs, Storage Accounts, Azure AD)

· Familiarity with ticketing tools

· Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, IP, VPN, subnets)

· Strong willingness to learn and work in a 24x7 Cloud Operations environment

Good to Have:

• Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification
• Exposure to monitoring, backup, or security concepts in Azure

·      Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred)
