About the Role

KANINI is looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with 7+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud migration, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, and Microsoft Azure environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in DevOps migration, pipeline automation, cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and DevSecOps practices. The candidate should be comfortable working across development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to build scalable and reliable deployment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Lead and support DevOps migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises or legacy environments to Microsoft Azure.
• Automate application build, deployment, release, and environment provisioning processes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, or equivalent tools.
• Manage and automate Azure infrastructure, configurations, deployments, and environment provisioning.
• Implement Git-based version control, branching, merge, and release strategies.
• Integrate security, code quality, automated testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement deployment strategies such as Blue-Green, Rolling, and Canary deployments where applicable.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Azure container services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline, deployment, infrastructure, application, and production issues.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards for Azure applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Establish and maintain DevOps standards, automation frameworks, and best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Prepare technical documentation related to architecture, deployment, automation, and operational processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Azure Repos, CI/CD, and release management.
• Proven experience in DevOps migration, cloud migration, and modernization projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and/or ARM/Bicep.
• Good understanding of Azure networking, compute, storage, identity, and security services.
• Strong experience with Git, branching strategies, and source code management.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python scripting.
• Good understanding of DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, vulnerability management, code quality, and automated testing.
• Experience troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines, Azure infrastructure, deployments, and production issues.
• Strong understanding of cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience with Azure Container Registry (ACR).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Key Vault.
• Experience with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Experience with SonarQube, SAST, DAST, or similar DevSecOps tools.
• Knowledge of Azure security, identity, and governance.
• Experience implementing high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience with Azure DevOps certification or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
• Exposure to PowerShell DSC, Ansible, or other configuration-management tools.
