Azure Devops Engineer

Job Description:

• Azure Infrastructure Buildout & Lifecycle Management
• Execute end-to-end buildout activities for specialized Azure networking infrastructure.
• Support hardware onboarding, readiness validation, deployment execution, and operational health verification.
• Coordinate infrastructure decommissioning activities while maintaining service reliability and minimizing customer impact.
• Partner with engineering and datacenter teams to drive deployment milestones and operational readiness.
• Automation & Engineering Excellence
• Design and implement automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Develop workflow enhancements, deployment tooling, validation frameworks, and reporting automation.
• Build scalable engineering solutions using PowerShell, automation platforms, and cloud-native tooling.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement automation-driven improvements.
• Data Analytics & Operational Intelligence
• Create and optimize Kusto (KQL) queries, dashboards, and telemetry solutions.
• Analyze deployment health, infrastructure readiness, lifecycle states, capacity utilization, and operational trends.
• Generate executive and engineering reports to support data-driven decision making.
• Correlate information from multiple systems to provide actionable operational insights.
• Security, Governance & Compliance
• Manage and govern Just-In-Time (JIT) access policies using DSCM and related security platforms.
• Perform access reviews, security group governance, policy authoring, and approval workflows.
• Lead remediation of security and compliance items across Azure subscriptions, networking resources, and infrastructure services.
• Develop implementation plans, audit evidence, RCA documentation, and compliance tracking mechanisms.
• AI & Intelligent Operations
• Design and build AI-powered operational assistants using Microsoft Copilot, declarative agents, and agent-based architectures.
• Develop solutions for automated prechecks, deployment validation, incident analysis, status reporting, and engineering productivity improvements.
• Integrate AI workflows with telemetry, automation, and operational systems while maintaining data integrity and governance controls.
• Operational Support & Stakeholder Management
• Investigate incidents, deployment blockers, service requests, and production issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Collaborate with global engineering, program management, security, and operations teams.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to team members.
