Azure Databricks Architect

We are seeking a hands-on Databricks Architect to support the migration of enterprise data platforms and analytics workloads from Snowflake to Databricks. On the Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable Databricks Lakehouse solutions.
• Assess existing Snowflake environments and develop migration strategies.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and SQL.
• Collaborate with business, data engineering, and cloud teams to migrate data, ETL processes, and reporting workloads.
• Provide architecture guidance, performance tuning, and best practices.
• Experience working with the Azure platform.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Data Engineering/Data Architecture experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Databricks architecture and development experience.
• Strong expertise in Databricks, Spark (PySpark), Delta Lake, and SQL.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and migration projects.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake architecture, data models, and migration considerations.
