Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in Data Engineering, Azure Data Services, and modern data platform development.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, OneLake, PySpark, SQL, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and modern analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
Key Responsibilities
1. Microsoft Fabric Development
- Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop and manage Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake solutions.
- Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric Data Factory.
- Work with Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, and Spark-based transformations.
- Develop and maintain Delta Lake tables and data models.
2. Data Integration & Engineering
- Integrate data from SQL Server, Azure SQL, REST APIs, ADLS Gen2, and other enterprise sources.
- Design incremental data loading, CDC-based ingestion, and batch processing.
- Develop data transformation logic using SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Implement data validation, cleansing, deduplication, and quality checks.
- Build reusable, parameterized, and metadata-driven data pipelines.
