Azure Data Engineer

Strong experience in Azure Cloud-based data engineering and solution development.

• Hands-on expertise in data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and analytics using Azure services.
• Involvement in end-to-end data pipeline design from raw data acquisition to consumption layers.
• Experience in migrating data platforms from on-premises to Azure Cloud.
• Collaboration with architects and analysts to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Strong focus on performance optimization, security, and compliance in Azure data projects.

• Experience in working within Agile delivery environments and DevOps-based deployment models.

Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Platform components, including: • Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, triggers, linked services, data flows

• Azure Databricks – PySpark, Delta Lake, notebooks • Azure Synapse Analytics – data warehouse design and optimization

• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) – hierarchy, partitions, and access control

• Azure SQL Database / Managed Instance • Excellent proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL for data transformations.

• Experience with data ingestion (batch and streaming) from multiple sources.

• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / ARM templates).

• Knowledge of Azure Security, IAM, and networking fundamentals. • Experience in data lakehouse design, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling.

• Understanding of cost optimization, monitoring, and logging in Azure (Monitor, Log Analytics).
