Job Description ADB (Azure Databricks) Data Engineer | PySpark | Banking Domain | AML

Position: ADB (Azure Databricks) Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks (ADB) and PySpark.
• Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data processing.
• Work with banking data platforms and support AML (Anti-Money Laundering) initiatives.
• Analyze, transform, and process structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with business, compliance, and AML teams to deliver data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide production support.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (ADB) and PySpark.
• Good knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working in the Banking/Financial Services domain.
• Understanding of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) processes, transaction monitoring, KYC, or compliance reporting.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and cloud-based data solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Spark optimization and performance tuning.
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with AML tools and regulatory reporting frameworks.
