Job Description

Job Title : Azure data Engineer

Qualification : Any Graduate or Above

Relevant Experience :5+years

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Fabric Workspaces, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouses, Warehouses, Eventhouse, and KQL Databases.
• Manage Azure Databricks clusters, jobs, notebooks, and scheduled workloads.
• Manage and support Informatica integrations, workflows, and data movements.
• Investigate and resolve pipeline failures, data ingestion issues, and production incidents.
• Re run failed jobs and workflows as required.
• Support deployment activities, configuration changes, and post deployment validations.
• Manage user provisioning/deprovisioning and access requests.
• Coordinate with Microsoft, Informatica, and other stakeholders for issue resolution.
• Prepare RCA reports, operational metrics, capacity reports, and maintain support documentation.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Azure Data Engineering or Data Platform Support.
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Eventhouse, KQL).
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Notebooks, Jobs, and PySpark.
• Experience with Informatica and integration support.
• Experience in ETL/ELT processes, data orchestration, and scheduled job management.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python/PySpark, and Kusto Query Language (KQL).
• Understanding of ITIL based Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
