About this role

Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure data services and a proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Design and implement data solutions using Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
Develop and maintain ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation.
Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve data issues in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications

8-16 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
Strong knowledge of Azure data services and tools.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
Experience with data modeling and data architecture best practices.
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools.
Experience in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
