This position is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Azure-based data pipelines and platforms that support analytics and business intelligence needs. Daily tasks include developing and optimizing ETL processes, implementing data models, and managing data warehousing solutions. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, ensuring data quality and governance, and mentoring other data engineers on best practices. The Azure Data Engineer Lead will contribute to architecture decisions and performance tuning to support scalable, secure, and reliable data solutions.

Profile Requirements:

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Engineering and Azure-based data platform development.
• Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Data Modeling and designing data structures for reporting and analytics.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools for building robust data pipelines.
• Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and implementation on cloud or hybrid environments.
• Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics, including using data to support insights, dashboards, and decision-making.
• Proficiency with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database is highly beneficial.
• Experience leading technical teams, performing code reviews, and establishing data engineering standards is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
