What we are looking for Role: Azure Data Engineer

Must Have:

• Manage and support Azure data platforms, including Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, and related data engineering services to ensure high availability and performance.
• Perform platform administration activities such as capacity management, performance tuning, partition maintenance, workload optimization, and resource utilization monitoring.
• Support AI and Agentic AI platforms by monitoring orchestration frameworks, resolving workflow failures, validating prompt routing, and troubleshooting vector database and model runtime issues.
• Manage data access, security, governance, RBAC provisioning, credential rotation, audit reviews, compliance controls, and data protection standards.
• Maintain Master Data Management (MDM), metadata catalogs, data lineage, data dictionaries, reference data, and governance processes across enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, analytics, and engineering teams to support integrations across APIs, event-driven architectures, Power Platform, and enterprise data ecosystems.
• Execute deployment, release, configuration, and change management activities, including environment support, version control, validation, and production readiness checks.
• Produce operational dashboards, incident trend reports, platform health scorecards, capacity forecasts, runbooks, and continuous improvement recommendations to enhance reliability and operational excellence.

Good to Have:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and restore ETL/ELT, batch, streaming, and orchestration workflows, ensuring adherence to SLA and operational commitments.
• Investigate and resolve data pipeline failures, schema mismatches, ingestion issues, data quality anomalies, and upstream/downstream integration problems.
