About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Azure Databricks Platform Administrator to design, operate, secure and optimize enterprise-scale Databricks environments on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer Azure Databricks accounts, workspaces, clusters, cluster policies, SQL warehouses, jobs and access controls

- Manage workspace provisioning using Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment pipelines

- Implement identity and access management with Microsoft Entra ID, single sign-on, service principals, managed identities and SCIM provisioning

- Administer Unity Catalog: metastores, catalogs, schemas, storage credentials, external locations and privileges

- Configure secure Azure networking: VNet injection, private endpoints, Private Link, NSGs and controlled egress

- Integrate with ADLS Gen2, Key Vault, Azure DevOps or GitHub and monitoring platforms

- Monitor platform health, optimize cost and lead incident, change and service-request management

Required Skills

- 5+ years in cloud data platform, infrastructure, DevOps or production support roles, including substantial hands-on administration of Azure Databricks

- Strong understanding of Azure Databricks architecture, compute, jobs, SQL warehouses, Delta Lake and Unity Catalog

- Azure services: Entra ID, ADLS Gen2, Key Vault, Virtual Network, Private Link, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure DevOps

- Automation with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates, Databricks CLI, REST APIs, PowerShell or Python

- CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform configuration

- Working knowledge of Apache Spark, Python, SQL and Delta Lake

- ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change management

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology+ M.C.A or B.Tech/B.E or B.C.A +M.C.A.
