Azure Cloud Infra Module Lead

Role Overview: We are looking for an autonomous and proactive Cloud Support & Automation Engineer to join our international team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS), driving FinOps cost optimization, and automating daily operations to build a more efficient infrastructure.

1. L2 Cloud Support: Provide Level 2 technical support for end-user incidents and requests within a multi-vendor cloud environment.
2. FinOps & Cost Optimization: Oversee FinOps operations, mastering both Azure and AWS Cost Explorer to guide projects and end-users in optimizing their cloud infrastructure costs.
3. Automation & Scripting: Collaborate closely with Cloud Architects and Operators to transition day-to-day operational activities into automated workflows using scripts and cloud-native serverless tools.

Required Qualifications:

1. Proven hands-on experience with Azure and AWS platforms, including Cloud Security best practices.
2. Strong knowledge of Azure governance, with required expertise in Azure Policies and Initiatives .
3. Strong scripting skills, particularly in PowerShell , combined with hands-on experience in Azure Runbooks, Azure Functions , and Azure Logic Apps for automating tasks in virtualized environments.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in an international, multicultural team.
5. A strong sense of autonomy and a drive to continuously improve existing environments.

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus):

1. AI-Assisted Automation: Experience or interest in leveraging AI tools (e. g. , GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or cloud-native AI) to accelerate scripting and troubleshooting.
2. Experience in OS management and networking.
3. Experience developing web interfaces to manage virtual services.
