The Non-SAP Application Platform Senior Analyst is in charge, under the direction of the Non-SAP Application Platform Manager, of the design, the development, the deployment, and the proper operations of Application Platform solutions they are assigned to.

They may be working in sub-teams, involving other associates or external resources globally, and may be accountable for the platform of a specific set of applications or a subset of application, this being dependent on the size or complexity of the Applications, which have been assigned to DP Portfolio..

The scope of his activities is global but does not include any SAP or Business Intelligence solution but as Non-SAP” could include any other application in the portfolio and does evolve based on needs. The job requires at least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure or IT application project or operations, with good ability to influence and interact with people, located remotely and globally.

Within Non-SAP application platform team 7*24, Follow the Sun support is provided for the Platform infrastructure standpoint leveraging associates and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for the technology solutions they have been assigned to;
• Translate functional requirements into technical solution specifications;
• Perform and execute technical design, development and configuration activities within the technology area he/she is in charge, in line with quality standards in place;
• Document solutions developed according to the defined rules in place, allowing for the solution to be supported by the Operational team;
• Lead and follow-up development and project activities, as assigned by the manager, for on- site and offshore contracted resources;
• Take care of the operational aspects of database technologies assigned to them, and also for further improving already existing database technologies;
• Promote procedures, standards and principles in place and seek for opportunities to improve them for the Technology area he is in charge;
• As part of this role, the associate will have to provide guidance to contractors or contracting resources assigned as part of a managed service;
• Managing the platform lifecycle.

Context and Scope

Role is done with remote management with a global geographical scope.

Role implies coordination and communication with multiple IS internal teams, in the same Division or in other IS Divisions

Role also involves interaction and communication with Business users, especially with regards to non-SAP application request deliveries.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

- Good communication, especially in English and interpersonal skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment, manages multiple activities and priorities, and work well under pressure.

- ITIL and/or PM certification

- Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.

2. Knowledge/Experience

3+ Years’ experience within IT, In an IT Application or IT Technology.

3+ Years’ experience in Microsoft technology, like windows admin.

Familiar with Windows Server components, architecture, and performance tuning.

Familiar the Azure cloud service, especially the Windows Server and MS SQL database in cloud, e.g. Azure.

Proven leadership and influencing experience through interaction with key stakeholders.Proven leadership and influencing experience with key stakeholders
