Azure Architect

Role & responsibilities:

• Healthcare Ecosystem Integration: Lead the architectural design for secure data exchange and interoperability between our platform and major healthcare interfaces (using HL7, FHIR, or proprietary APIs).
• Full-Stack Azure Infrastructure: Design and manage a robust environment using Azure VMs, App Services, and Function Apps.
• Serverless & Scalable Data: Architect modern, serverless workflows and manage Elastic Database pools to handle fluctuating healthcare payer workloads.
• Cost Optimization: Implement rigorous Cloud Financial Management (FinOps) to monitor and reduce Azure consumption costs without compromising performance.
• Cloud Security & Governance: Act as the guardian of our HIPAA/HITRUST compliance. Manage vulnerability assessments, identity (Entra ID), and "Zero Trust" networking.
• DevOps & Automation: Drive "Infrastructure as Code" (Terraform/Bicep) to ensure repeatable, audited deployments.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Cloud Native Services: Expert-level knowledge of Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus for event-driven architectures.
• Database Mastery: Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Elastic Pools and Cosmos DB for multi-tenant SaaS scaling.
• Security First: Proven experience with Azure Security Center (Defender for Cloud), Key Vault, and Private Link to ensure data never touches the public internet.
• Healthcare Standards: Familiarity with healthcare-specific integration patterns (claims processing, provider data, and benefits configuration).
