Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Azure API Developer with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, securing, and deploying cloud-native REST APIs on Microsoft Azure.

The candidate will be responsible for translating business and integration requirements into API specifications and technical designs, developing enterprise-grade REST APIs, and securely hosting and managing them using Azure services.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and integration requirements and translate them into API specifications and technical designs.
• Design, develop, test, document, and maintain enterprise REST APIs.
• Develop and host APIs using Azure Functions and/or Azure App Service.
• Publish, secure, monitor, and manage APIs through Azure API Management (APIM).
• Implement API security, including authentication, authorization, throttling, policies, and access controls.
• Use Azure Key Vault and Managed Identity for secure secrets and identity management.
• Work with API documentation and testing tools such as OpenAPI/Swagger and Postman.
• Integrate APIs with enterprise applications, backend systems, and data sources.
• Support integration with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and custom connectors where applicable.
• Enable secure API-based connectivity with data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Work with Azure monitoring and logging services such as Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for CI/CD and deployment activities.
