Manage Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services based on business and application requirements.

Manage Azure subscriptions, Management Groups, Resource Groups, RBAC, Policies, Tags, and resource governance.

Provision and manage Azure Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets, Managed Disks, Storage Accounts, Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, and related services.

Perform capacity planning, performance optimization, cost optimization, and resource lifecycle management.

Implement Azure best practices for availability, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Azure Data Engineering

Administer and support Azure data platform services such as:

Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Azure Synapse Analytics

Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2

Azure Databricks

Azure SQL Database

Azure Stream Analytics

Azure Event Hubs

Support data ingestion, integration, orchestration, and data pipeline environments.

Troubleshoot data platform connectivity, performance, security, and access-related issues.

Work closely with Data Engineers and Analytics teams to support enterprise data workloads.

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

Design, deploy, configure, and administer Azure Virtual Desktop environments.

Manage Host Pools, Session Hosts, Application Groups, Workspaces, FSLogix profiles, and user assignments.

Troubleshoot AVD connectivity, authentication, profile, performance, and application issues.

Implement AVD scaling, monitoring, security, and cost optimization.

Azure Database Services

Administer and support Azure database services including:

Azure SQL Database

Azure SQL Managed Instance

Azure Database for PostgreSQL/MySQL

SQL Server on Azure VMs

Perform database connectivity, performance, availability, backup, recovery, and security administration.

Support database migration and modernization initiatives.

Networking

Strong understanding and administration of Azure networking services:

Virtual Networks (VNet)

Subnets

NSGs

Azure Firewall

Azure Application Gateway

Azure Load Balancer

VPN Gateway

ExpressRoute

Private Endpoints

Private DNS

Azure DNS

VNet Peering

Route Tables / UDR

Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, DNS, firewall, and hybrid connectivity issues.

Support on-premises to Azure and Azure-to-Azure connectivity.

Azure Security & Identity

Implement Azure security best practices and cloud security controls.

Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, Managed Identities, Conditional Access, and privileged access.

Work with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Azure Firewall, and security policies.

Implement secure access to Azure resources using Private Endpoints, network segmentation, encryption, and identity-based controls.

Support security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.

Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Deploy, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.

Manage node pools, networking, scaling, upgrades, identities, storage, and ingress.

Support containerized application deployments and integration with Azure networking and security services.

Troubleshoot AKS performance, connectivity, pod, node, and application issues.

Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and container security is preferred.

Azure AI Services

Support and administer Azure AI/ML-related services, including:

Azure AI Services

Azure OpenAI Service

Azure AI Search

Azure Machine Learning

Configure secure connectivity, identity, networking, monitoring, and access controls for AI workloads.

Support enterprise AI workload deployment and integration with Azure infrastructure.

Monitoring & Operations

Implement and manage Azure monitoring and observability solutions.

Develop dashboards, alerts, and operational monitoring for critical Azure workloads.

Implement and manage Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR).

Configure backup policies, retention, vaults, recovery points, and restore procedures.

Design and support disaster recovery solutions for Azure and hybrid workloads.

Conduct backup validation, recovery testing, and DR exercises.

Ensure defined RPO/RTO requirements are met.

Automation & DevOps

Automate Azure administration and operational activities using:

ARM/Bicep

Terraform

Exposure to Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.

Develop scripts and automation for provisioning, monitoring, patching, and resource management.
