AWS RDS, PostgreSQL

Job Summary Infra Architect position for a hybrid work model requiring twelve to fifteen years of experience in designing and optimizing resilient cloud native platforms. Role focuses on AWS environments using services such as compute and distributed data stores to support high volume Medicare and Medicaid claims processing for payer systems. The architect will ensure scalability compliance and performance for critical claims workloads.

R AWS DBA ( should have strong in DB technologies and migration experience , willing to learn terraform ) PostgreSQL, NoSQL Aurora variants included and DynamoDB

• Expertise in Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redshift administration.
• Strong skills in backup/restore, high availability, Multi‑AZ, and cross‑Region replication.
• Proficiency with performance tuning—query optimization, indexing, and monitoring using CloudWatch & Performance Insights.
• Hands‑on experience with security best practices—KMS encryption, IAM policies, parameter groups, and network hardening.
• Automation using Lambda, AWS CLI, Terraform/CloudFormation, and automated patching strategies.
• Deep understanding of migrations using DMS, SCT, snapshots, and lift‑and‑shift strategies.
• Strong operational skills in troubleshooting, failover handling, cost optimization, and incident response.
