AWS Infra Architect - S

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, highly available, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises and hybrid environments to AWS.
• Develop reference architectures, cloud governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Design network architectures including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPN, and Load Balancers.
• Implement cloud security controls, identity management, encryption, and compliance requirements.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Application, and Infrastructure teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
• Design disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks using AWS-native and third-party tools.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for cloud adoption and operational excellence.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership on cloud infrastructure initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of overall IT Infrastructure experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions.
• Strong expertise in AWS core services and cloud architecture principles.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Strong understanding of AWS networking, security, and governance frameworks.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD automation.
• Experience implementing high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
