Position: AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and containerization technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), deployment automation, and monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure and monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
• Implement security best practices, backup strategies, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Expertise in Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Good understanding of Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash/Python).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, security groups, load balancers, and DNS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Knowledge of serverless architecture using AWS Lambda.
• Familiarity with security best practices and DevSecOps.
• Exposure to Kafka, Redis, or other distributed systems.
• AWS Certifications (AWS Certified Developer/Cloud Practitioner/Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer) will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
