About this role
- Provision and manage AWS services including multi-AZ VPCs, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Route 53.
- Implement robust IAM frameworks, crafting strict, least-privilege policies, service control policies (SCPs), and role-based access.
- Optimize cloud costs by tracking resource utilization, utilizing savings plans, and right-sizing AWS instances.
- Manage cloud security and compliance using AWS Secrets Manager, KMS encryption, CloudTrail auditing, and Security Hub.
- Ensure high availability by designing backup and disaster recovery (DR) strategies for critical AWS data stores.
- Support production-grade Amazon EKS clusters, ensuring node groups and control planes are healthy and updated.
- Manage cluster configuration, including network security groups for pods, IAM Roles for Service Accounts (IRSA), and VPC CNI.
- Deploy application workloads onto EKS using Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests.
- Write reusable Terraform code to provision and version control all AWS and EKS infrastructure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins to automate application deployments.
- Maintain Docker container configurations, ensuring images are secure, scanned for vulnerabilities, and optimized for size.
