Role - AWS DevOps Architect

Location - Kolkata/Indore

Key Role Requirements

• Define and govern scalable AWS infrastructure and DevOps architecture aligned with Client's existing Landing Zone, enterprise architecture standards, security controls, and Architecture Decision Records.
• Mature Curtin's Digital Factory through platform engineering, reusable CI/CD patterns, Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, automated environment provisioning, and developer self-service.
• Establish DevSecOps controls covering security guardrails, policy-as-code, automated compliance checks, IAM integration, vulnerability management, and secure release practices.
• Design cloud-native infrastructure patterns for Client's Digital Experience, Integration, Data & Analytics, and Smart Campus platforms, including event-driven, API-led, serverless, and container-based solutions.
• Define observability and SRE practices using AWS CloudWatch and integrated monitoring platforms for logging, alerting, reliability, performance, and automated remediation.
• Drive automation across provisioning, configuration, patching, backup, deployment, and environment lifecycle management within Curtin's established operating processes.
• Lead architecture reviews and technical workshops; collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, platform/product teams, AWS stakeholders, and delivery squads; and support knowledge transfer and mentoring.
• Bring strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Terraform, Git-based CI/CD, DevSecOps, platform engineering, CloudWatch, Lambda, EventBridge, API Gateway, SNS/SQS, Kinesis, and infrastructure automation.

Key Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in infrastructure architecture and cloud engineering.
• 5+ years architecting AWS-based enterprise platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Landing Zones, Multi-Account AWS architecture, networking, IAM, and security controls.
• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation programs.
