AWS Data Architect

Role & responsibilities

• 7+ years of experience in AWS cloud architecture, data platforms, and integration solutions.
• Proven experience designing serverless, microservices, and eventdriven architectures on AWS.

AWS Expertise

• Strong handson experience with:
• Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions
• SQS, SNS, EventBridge
• ECS
• VPC, PrivateLink, NLB
• DynamoDB, S3, RDS/Aurora

Programming & Integration

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, retry strategies, idempotency, and failure handling.

DevOps & IaC

• Handson experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and deployment troubleshooting.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex architectural concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Preferred candidate profile

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, Data Analytics, or equivalent).
• Experience with streaming and realtime data architectures.
• Exposure to hybrid or multicloud data environments.
• Experience integrating analytics, reporting, or ML workloads with AWS data platforms.
