About the Role: AWS Cloud Services Engineer
Location :- Pune (Baner)
Work Mode :- Hyrbid (4days work from office)
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Services Engineer to design, build, and optimize our
growing AWS infrastructure. In this role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring our cloud
environments are highly available, secure, and cost-effective. You will leverage your deep AWS
expertise, alongside strong Linux and Windows systems experience, to architect robust cloud
networks, manage complex traffic routing, and champion a security-first approach across all
cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision, manage, and version-control all cloud infrastructure
and network configurations using Terraform.
AWS Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available,
and fault-tolerant systems using core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
Cloud Networking & Traffic Routing: Architect and manage secure networking solutions,
including VPCs, Subnets, Route 53, Transit Gateways, and Direct Connect/VPNs.
Load Balancing & High Availability: Implement and configure advanced load balancing
strategies using Application Load Balancers (ALB) and Network Load Balancers (NLB) to
ensure optimal application performance and zero downtime.
Systems Administration: Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot both Linux (e.g., RHEL,
Ubuntu, Amazon Linux) and Windows Server instances operating within the cloud
infrastructure.
Security & Compliance: Embed a "security-first" mindset into the architecture. Manage IAM
roles and policies, Security Groups, WAF, KMS, and utilise AWS security hubs to safeguard
infrastructure against vulnerabilities.
Cloud Cost Optimisation (FinOps): Continuously monitor, analyse, and optimise AWS
spending. Utilize AWS Cost Explorer to identify opportunities for right-sizing, Reserved
Instances, and Savings Plans without compromising performance.
Automation & Monitoring: Implement robust infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and logging
using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience engineering and administering AWS
cloud environments.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform): Proven, production-level experience writing and
deploying modular, reusable infrastructure using Terraform.
OS Proficiency: Strong foundational knowledge and practical administrative experience with
both Linux and Windows operating systems.
Networking Expertise: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and cloud-native
networking paradigms.
Security Focus: Proven ability to implement least-privilege access and secure complex cloud
environments against external and internal threats.
Cost Management: Demonstrable experience in analysing cloud architecture for cost
efficiency and implementing cost-saving measures.
Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex
network, OS, and cloud-service interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: Active AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Associate/Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) or HashiCorp Terraform
certifications.
Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for task
automation.
Additional Automation/IaC: Experience with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Ansible, or CI/CD
pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
