Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Design cloud-native architectures and migration strategies for enterprise applications to AWS.
• Define and implement best practices for infrastructure, networking, security, and application design in the cloud.
• Lead technical discussions, solution design workshops, and architecture reviews.
• Develop and maintain architecture artifacts such as diagrams, playbooks, and templates.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Drive adoption of DevOps and automation practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, and logging.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards using AWS native tools and frameworks.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, availability, and cost.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.
• Good Communication skill
• Strong customer facing skills with the ability to manage expectations and resolve issues.

Good-to-Have

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS).

Familiarity with hybrid cloud and multi-account architecture.

Exposure to serverless architectures, including Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge.

Knowledge of cost management tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor.

Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps environments.
