AVP - Procurement Leader - Chennai

Position Job Title: AVP - Procurement

Shift: Flexibility of 24*7 availability/Candidate should be comfortable with night shift too as this role requires dealing with US customer.

Location: Chennai - Shollingnallur

Preferred Qualification:

• MBA / Postgraduate in Supply Chain or related field
• Exposure to digital procurement tools and AI-driven sourcing

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES

• Minimum 18+ years of experience, 12 years at Managerial Level and should have capability to manage 500+ FTEs
• Drive on-time, accurate & quality service delivery within agreed-upon SLAs for assigned processes
• Strategic Sourcing: Identify spend optimization opportunities, execute cost-reduction projects, and collaborate with category management.
• Client Engagement: Act as SME for S2P, engage with CXO-level stakeholders, and present proposals and case studies.

CRITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience: 18+ years in BPO / Consulting with strong S2P expertise.
• Manage team size of 500+ HC span.
• Strong Domain Knowledge: Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, P2P, Contract Management
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), E-Sourcing Tools Coupa, Ariba and automation platforms.
• Leadership Skills: Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication.
• Responsible for day to day deliverables across clients from various gegoraphies - APMEA, ME, Europe NAM and LAM
• Drive on-time, accurate & quality service delivery within agreed-upon SLAs for assigned processes
• Identify opportunities to increase existing processes, reviewing the current lifecycle and new business
• Analytical Skills: Ability to craft diagnostic frameworks and leverage data insights. Should be ready to work in client specific shifts.
• Integrate domain knowledge & business understanding to create superior solutions for the client
• Responsible for customer satisfaction by meeting / exceeding all service levels as agreed with the customer
• Drive & compliance with Contractual commitments .
