AVP Investment Banking (Credit & Origination)

Key Responsibilities

• Originate investment banking mandates across M&A, PE fundraising, structured finance, debt & equity transactions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, promoters, corporates, PE/VC firms and institutional investors
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate revenue through client acquisition and relationship building
  • Lead client pitches, presentations and business development discussions
  • Develop a strong pipeline of potential mandates and track relevant market/deal opportunities
  • Work closely with execution teams to drive transactions through to closure
  • Coordinate with internal teams on pitch decks, financial models, valuations and due diligence
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and investment opportunities

What Were Looking For

• 5–12 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or Private Equity
  • Proven track record in deal origination / business development
  • Strong network among corporates, promoters, CXOs, PE/VCs and institutional investors
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation and deal structuring
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple mandates and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Preferred: MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA
