AVP - Business Analyst-Trade Finance & Lending

Your key responsibilities

• Analyse trade finance and lending operations processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for automation or improvement.
• Lead business transformation initiatives by defining requirements, target operating models, and implementation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, technology, risk, compliance, and product teams to align on priorities and deliverables.
• Document current-state workflows, pain points, and controls, then design improved future-state processes.
• Support system and process change activities, including UAT, testing, training, and post-implementation monitoring.
• Monitor KPIs, service levels, and regulatory/compliance requirements to ensure transformation outcomes are achieved.
• Prepare business cases, status reports, and presentations to communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to leadership.

Your skills and experience

• Strong understanding of trade finance products, lending operations, and end-to-end process flows.
• Experience in business analysis, process improvement, and transformation delivery within financial services.
• Ability to gather and document requirements, translate business needs into process and system changes.
• Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and risk control requirements relevant to lending and trade finance.
• Proficiency in data analysis, KPI tracking, reporting, and using insights to drive decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across operations, technology, and leadership teams.
• Experience with change management, UAT, training, and implementation support for business transformation projects. Excellent proven communication and documentation/presentation skills
• Ability to identify and escalate problems at an early stage
• Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations
• Fluent in English (written/verbal)
