About this role
Job Description:
A. Main responsibilities
The jobholder will be responsible for development of Safety critical Real time Embedded software for avionics application conforming to DO 178 B/C standard.
B. Main activities
The jobholder will be responsible for software development activities (from Specification to Verification of software) including:
. Creation of software requirements
. Design and implementation of software modules
. Unit level verification of software modules
. Integration of software modules
. Integration testing (software - software & software - Hardware)
. Analysis of issues raised either during testing campaigns or in-service usage
C. Skills
Experience in full software lifecycle encompassing Software requirements Definition, Dynamic & Static Design, Coding and verification activities in industrialized domains.
Must have skills:
Hands on experience on
. Embedded software requirements engineering and Architecture (Static and Dynamic)
. Design and development (module level design, interfaces, algorithm)
. Embedded Programming
. Unit and integration testing (host & target environment)
. Software configuration management
. Knowledge about standards (requirements / design / coding)
. Knowledge about RTOS
. Strong inter personnel skills
Good to have skills:
. Work experience on DO 178 standard
. Project Management skills
. Knowledge about avionics systems and network
