For Candidates From Non-Automobile Backgrounds STEP Training Program

Candidates who do not have a Mechanical or Automobile qualification may be considered for our STEP Training Program.

The program provides practical, industry-oriented training covering:

• Basic automobile systems and components
• Vehicle service fundamentals
• Realistic assembly and dismantling practice
• Basic mechanical repair procedures
• Hands-on learning with real cars
• Workshop tools and equipment
• Vehicle inspection and service procedures
• Customer service fundamentals
• Practical workshop experience
• Safety procedures and professional workshop practices

Training Support

For eligible candidates selected for the STEP Program:

Practical training with real vehicles
Accommodation support during the course
Food support during the course

Job Responsibilities Automotive Technician

• Perform vehicle inspection and identify service requirements
• Carry out periodic maintenance and general service
• Assist in diagnosis of vehicle issues
• Perform mechanical repairs and replacement of components
• Follow manufacturer-recommended service procedures
• Use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment properly
• Maintain quality and safety standards
• Complete assigned jobs within the required time
• Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the workshop
• Follow company and workshop safety procedures
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and other workshop team members

Career Opportunity Service Advisor

Candidates demonstrating good communication and customer-handling skills may also be considered for Service Advisor roles.

Responsibilities include:

• Understand customer vehicle/service requirements
• Explain service requirements clearly to customers
• Coordinate with technicians and workshop teams
• Provide customers with service updates
• Prepare and explain service estimates
• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain proper service documentation
