Job Description: EV Field Technician

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

1. On-Field Incident & Emergency Response

• Rapid Deployment: Acknowledge and call the rider within 10 minutes of a ticket being allocated.
• On-Site SLA Management: Arrive at the breakdown site within 1 hour of allocation to initiate resolution.
• Technical Resolution: Apply "First Time Right" methodologies to diagnose and resolve EV issues within designated TATs (inclusive of travel time).
• Specialised Extraction: Utilise company-provided tools, training, and processes to safely unlock stuck battery packs (BP) from vehicles and handle Quick Inspection Sheets (QIS).

2. Reporting, Systems & Compliance

• Real-Time Logging: Log precise, step-by-step updates for every ticket in the mobile application (Fresh Service) in real-time before moving to the next ticket site.
• Incident Escalation: Act as a Level-1 resolver; promptly escalate complex technical or on-field bottlenecks to the Shift Supervisor for immediate intervention.
• Operational Readiness: Maintain 100% mobile phone availability during duty hours; switching off the phone while on duty is strictly prohibited.

3. Territory & Shift Flexibility

• Territory Ownership: Maintain absolute commitment to clearing all allocated tickets within your designated geographical sector.
• Cross-Area Deployment: Adapt to dynamic scheduling, with the flexibility to shift to other operational zones within the state depending on ticket volume fluctuations.
• Shift Rotations: Work seamlessly across the Emergency Response Team (ERT) shift rotations:
• Shift 1: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Shift 2: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
