Automation Testing – Playwright

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Testing Engineer with a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in Playwright testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automation testing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for quality assurance. This is a full-time position based in India.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Playwright
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify, report and troubleshoot defects
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Continuously improve test coverage and effectiveness
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data
• Mentor junior automation testers and assist with their development

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in automation testing using Playwright
• Strong experience with JavaScript
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or SOAP UI
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
