Automation Testing in Javascript/Typescript with Playwright

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Develop and execute UI automation scripts using Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Cypress.
• Implement REST API automation using Axios, Supertest, or similar libraries.
• Apply ES6+ features, data structures, OOP concepts, and design patterns.
• Develop BDD-based automation using Cucumber.js, Mocha.js, or similar frameworks.
• Follow clean coding practices, participate in code reviews, and use linters and code-quality tools.
• Manage parallel execution, test suites, test data, and automation reporting.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to testing strategies, automation best practices, and continuous quality improvement.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on programming experience in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of ES6+, strings, arrays, JavaScript objects, and OOP concepts.
• Strong experience with Playwright for UI automation.
• Hands-on experience in REST API automation.
• Experience designing and developing scalable automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of design patterns, including Singleton, Factory, Builder, Decorator, and Composite.
• Experience with Node.js automation libraries and reusable components.
• Understanding of BDD, parallel execution, test suite management, and CI/CD integration.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with WebdriverIO or Cypress.
• Familiarity with Cucumber.js and Mocha.js.
• Experience with Axios or Supertest.
• Knowledge of ESLint, Prettier, Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
