Job Description: Forgerock Identity Management Role Descriptions: Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining a test automation framework using Playwright. Proficiency in API testing and understanding of CI/CD pipelines are also essential. Excellent communication skills are necessary for collaboration with cross-functional teams. A solid grasp of Agile testing methodologies is required to adapt to the dynamic nature of the role. Desirable Skills: Design, develop, and maintain a reliable, scalable, and maintainable test automation framework built on Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) for Salesforce CPQ. 

Automate end-to-end complex CPQ workflows, including product configuration rules, dynamic pricing models, quote generation, approval matrices, and billing/order integrations. 

Handle dynamic Salesforce UI elements (Shadow DOM, iframes, dynamic IDs) within the Playwright framework to minimize flakiness and maximize test stability. 

Develop detailed automation scripts and test data setups from test plans and business requirements.

  Diagnose, debug, report, and perform root-cause analysis on issues and defects in Salesforce CPQ environments. 

Actively participate in test planning discussions to ensure high automation coverage and drive continuous improvement. 

Participate in reviews of QA standards, automation tools, and processes to enhance the efficiency and quality of enterprise testing.

  Closely collaborate with project managers, Salesforce developers, BAs, and the QA team to understand deployment schedules and execute appropriate automation runs prior to releases.

  Integrate Playwright automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous regression execution. Key Qualifications: For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team: 

5+ years of experience in web application and enterprise software automation. 

Playwright Core Expertise: Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test suites using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript. 

Salesforce CPQ Knowledge: Hands-on experience testing or automating Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ, including product bundles, price rules, discount schedules, quote line editors, and approval processes. 

UI & Async Handling: Strong understanding of handling complex web interfaces, dynamic DOM elements, async events, and custom Salesforce Lightning components in Playwright. 

API Testing: Expertise in testing REST/SOAP APIs and validating JSON/XML payloads for enterprise integrations. 

CI/CD Integration: Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab) and SDLC concepts like code reviews, test reporting, and continuous test execution. 

Agile Testing: Experience with Agile testing practices, test-driven methodologies, exploratory testing, and test data management across environments. 

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Exceptional attention to detail, strong root-cause analysis capabilities, and a passion for test automation. 

Environment Skills: Strong technical background working across cross-platform environments (Mac/Windows). 

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical issues and partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. Preferable Skills:

  Experience automating integrations between Salesforce CPQ and ERP systems

 (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle).

  Experience with cross-browser and parallel execution strategies in Playwright. Education: 

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
