Automation Tester((UFT)

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT and Selenium WebDriver. Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios. Automate web-based and Mainframe testing. Perform backend validation using SQL queries and database testing techniques. Analyze requirements and prepare test cases, test data, and test execution reports. Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Participate in test planning, estimation, and sprint activities in Agile environments. Maintain automation frameworks and improve test execution efficiency. Support CI/CD and continuous testing initiatives.
